2 hours of drawing condensed into 60 seconds of forest calm. ☀️🍄

There's a unique kind of magic in the mountains right after the rain, when the sun breaks through and the woods burst with life. Inking these delicate alpine mushrooms and ferns felt like bringing a piece of that sunlit forest indoors.

A timeless, classic aesthetic infused with the quiet wonder of the woods. What’s your favorite detail of the autumn forest?

From a crisp, sunlit walk right after the late-summer rains to the drawing board. 🌲✨

When the forest floor came alive with mushrooms under the warm autumn sun, I knew I had to turn it into a design for the next @spoonflower challenge. This design bridges the charm of classic alpine toile de jouy with a touch of quiet forest mystery.

🍄 FUN FACT: Did you know that the Shaggy Ink Cap (Coprinus comatus, featured in the second slide) literally melts into black ink as it matures? Nature's own little magic trick right there on the forest floor.

Whether you love traditional rustic decor or want something with a subtle hint of woodland storytelling, this pattern feels right at home in a cozy mountain cabin or an eclectic modern space.

Swipe through to see the inspiration, the core design, and all four colorways! Let me know your favorite. 👇

Every single stroke drawn by hand. 🌿🍂 Working on the foliage and details for this design brought right back the crisp air of my winter mountain walks through snowy woods, observing quiet forests, and sketching the plants that caught my eye along the trails in the Dolomites. Capturing the quiet magic of those silent snow-draped landscapes means the world to me, and it's the true heartbeat of my entire new collection Winter Woodland.

(Stay tuned for part two to see also the flower bloom! 🌸)

This print, featuring the Helleborus and other winter specimens I encountered on my treks, is already live and available in my @spoonflower shop for your handmade garments and winter home decor projects.

Can you picture it in your space? Let me know below! 👇

Sun-bleached hues and shifting geometry. I’ve been waiting to show you how this new faded ikat pattern looks in a real space, the Cerulean Blue feels just like a breath of fresh sea air on raw linen texture.

It’s a single design created to adapt to different moods, also available in Sage Green and Coral Red.

Swipe to see the other colorways and tell me: if you had to pick a shade for your summer bedroom escape, which one would it be? 👇
